19th December 2009. The date when Baar Baar Rafi, the fan club, organised yet another musical evening successfully. The Magic of Rafi Saab. The venue is Ambedkar Bhavan. Every moment of the event is already itched in the memory of all rafi fans present there. The photos are just a reminisce.
Around 30+ songs performed on stage. One of our best singers of Rafi sahab was, Mr. Srikant Narayanan from Mumbai. The president of Baar Baar Rafi Mr. Raj, myself with Mrs. Sinchan and Mrs. Nagachandrika accompanied Srikant in this journey.
It was August 1st, 2009. This day, I can say, was one of the nicest experiences I have had in singing on stage. It was overwhelming 700 people in the audience keen and eager to listen to wonderful songs of Mohammed Rafi sahab. I was one of the lucky few who was about to perform on stage. Bangalore Gayana Samaj, Bangalore was the venue where we saw atleast 700 people jam packed inside the auditorium and many others standing outside the venue for tickets, which were already sold out. It was all exciting to me and thanks to Mr. Raj and Mr. Narayanan of the
