I checked the problem Tom and it was because you had defined different key listeners for each module. When you pressed right arrow in the main menu after coming back, the submenu Next action + main menu next action (defined initially) + (defined again when you got back) got triggered.

Best practice = Use only one global variable to track keylisteners and remove key listeners before adding a new one.

T, you could probably mail me the source files so I can take a look at them and fix it and let you know how I did it? It is a little difficult to guess the solution.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial, i’m a little stuck, as I have added a button that takes the user to another frame, only when the user returns to the 1st frame the menu skips an item when animating.?? I cannot see where the problem is, any ideas?

Very cool menu. I like arrows navigation. But we need to click on the flash file to setFocus. =( Do you know how to do this?
