Episode 02: Legacy file conversion

Flash Professional CC

As was introduced in Flash CS5, Flash Pro CC continues to support XFL file format, both as a compressed .fla and the uncompressed .xfl file types. Flash Pro also continues to support opening of files last saved in any, earlier version of Flash Professional.

Supported file types include opening not only the XFL files saved in Flash CS5.5, and CS6, but also the older “binary” .fla files saved in Flash CS4 and earlier.

This tutorial requires you to understand the basics of Adobe Flash Professional.
